Castine, Maine March 26, 2020 – The Castine Historical Society has announced that it is postponing the Castine House and Garden Tour originally scheduled for July 23, 2020 until July 2021.

The Castine Historical Society looks forward to welcoming the public to this popular and well-attended event next summer!

About Castine House & Garden Tour
The Castine Historical Society’s archives document House and Garden Tours being held in Castine as far back as 1924.  A tradition in Castine for almost a century, these tours provide a unique opportunity for history, architecture, maritime, and horticultural buffs alike to experience the delights of an almost island-like seaside village where time seems to have stood still.

About Castine Historical Society
The Castine Historical Society preserves the local history of Castine. Exhibits are in its Abbott School gallery at 17 School Street and the Grindle House research center, offices and collection storage are at 13 School Street, Castine. As mandated by Maine’s Governor Janet Mills, our offices are closed with staff
working remotely. We will continue to follow the guidelines of our state concerning our scheduled opening day of June 8th.
