Gift a Tribute Gift in Memory or Honor of Someone Special

A tribute, memorial, or honorarium gift to the Castine Historical Society is a meaningful way to remember a loved one, celebrate a special occasion, or express gratitude, while supporting the collections, exhibitions, and educational programs of the Historical Society.

Tribute gifts mark special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. You can also celebrate a holiday with a gift to CHS in the name of someone special to you.  Memorial gifts express your sympathy or to remember a loved one.

Your contribution will be acknowledged with a personalized letter sent to the honored individual or family of the deceased–without reference to the amount of the gift–as well as a receipt sent to you for your tax  purposes. In addition, the name of the individual being honored or memorialized will be listed in the CHS newsletter.
